The league songwriters have been waiting for.
Each season runs as a series of timed, themed rounds. Writers submit under deadline, real judges score every entry, and standings update round by round across the full arc.
TopLine treats songwriting as a competitive discipline. Each season brings together a curated field of songwriters competing round by round, judged on craft, with standings that reward consistency across the full arc.
Top performers get a direct path toward sync placement — publishing and licensing built into how the league works, not added on after.
Season Beta ran July 21 – August 14, 2026, testing TopLine's competitive format against a single creative brief. Six invited songwriters. Seventeen submissions. A season decided by the tightest possible margin.
Season Beta wasn't a demo, it was a live production test. Real writers submitted real work under real deadlines, judged by a real panel using SPI — TopLine's proprietary scoring infrastructure, built in-house and central to how the platform will rank, rank-adjust, and validate creative output at scale. SPI is part of TopLine's protected IP and under active development ahead of full launch. The season surfaced and resolved platform issues in real time, including login flow, score visibility, and judge permissions, validating that the competitive format holds up under actual use, not just concept.
Season Beta proved the format works at small scale. The next raise funds the infrastructure, judge network, and production capacity to run TopLine's first full public season.
